Happy Christmas!
Well as we draw close to the end of another successful year at Clockwork I thought it high time to update the news section and I should probably add the recent shows and job pics of all the exciting things we’ve been producing- Must do that at some point…
2022 has seen a good variety of work, from the usual Theatre through to the special one off type builds.
Here are a few of the highlights!
We started the year building some bits and bobs for The Grange Opera - Broucek- including a giant chrome sausage that was ridden on! We do like the odd builds!
Cut a Mini Convertible in half, chopped out 400mm and bolted it all back together so it would fit through a gun door on the Brand New Celebrity Beyond and then sit within the diameter of a circular stage lift.
Popped over to Germany to install a Mini Golf course
Made a news desk for ABC news
Built another 2 versions of a roll out of Band Fronts and rostras for Viking Cruises
Produced semi temporary outside bar units/ walls and planters to be installed in around 50 pubs for Guinness
Designed and manufactured a freestanding tourable event structure for Mirabeau.
Developed, manufactured and installed another indoor golf course in Eastleigh
Refurbished The Colour Purple for the UK tour.
Built a lovely little oak set for ABC News for the Jubilee and stored it.
Dropped everything and recovered the Jubilee set, loaded it onto a roof opposite Westminster Abbey for the Funeral.
Thats a few of the ones that come to mind….
We’re currently working on a a job for Carnival for the new P&O Cruise ship.
So we’ve been busy! Been a bit tricky with materials but that seems a little better apart from the cost!
