Wind in the Willows – The Rose Theatre
With a variety of set pieces, and props. We built a mound/ riverbank which was a plethora of angled infills surrounding a steeldeck substructure. which was painted in a stylised fashion to allow for Tims quite amazing AV design to ‘pop’.
The Car is electrically driven using 2 motors and a customised controller and patented Clockwork accelerator pedal-! (patent pending…!) All painted to match the lithographic feel to the set and other large props, such as the boat and gypsy caravan.
‘Fast-paced, engaging, with short catchy tunes. There is no time for the little ones in the audience to get bored’
‘Lively, witty, sensitive and packing a contemporary political punch. McConville’s adaptation is, on the whole, utterly enchanting.’
